This is awesome. Through an initiative called Image Hack, Dove is trying to change the unrealistic, sometimes downright pornographic way advertisers portray women. I know, I know. Good luck. But it's an effort. And none of the typical drivel about how wretched all men are. No call for legislation. No "pussy hats." Just an effort by a company (I'm sure Dove does not-so-great stuff, too, but can't we give credit when it's due...) to portray real women--clothed, working hard, shooting guns (yes, seriously), sometimes dirty--as beautiful.
